Superior Nos. 650 and 652 are general-purpose brazing fluxes that can be used in a wide variety of joining applications in many different manufacturing processes including:

• Copper to Copper
• Copper to Brass
• Copper to Mild Steel
• Brass to Brass
• Brass to Mild Steel
• Mild Steel to Mild Steel
• Nickel, Silver and other Base Metals

Both fluxes are similar in chemistry. However, Superior No. 650 is more restrictive in its brazing performance, whereas Superior No. 652 promotes more flow. The suitability of each flux is dependent upon the particular process application and the desired results.
